Lauren C. Walters Receives American Gastroenterology Association Award
Lauren C. Walters, a third year Ph.D. candidate in the Center for Human Genetics Research of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, has been awarded one of two American Gastroenterology Association Foundation 2008 Graduate Student Awards.
The award, $40,000 over two years, is designed to help defray the cost of Ph.D. candidates who are studying the biology and epidemiology of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and/or pancreas.
