CHGR Mission

The mission of the Center for Human Genetics Research is to decipher the genetic basis of rare and common human traits and to integrate this knowledge into the diagnostics, treatments, and preventions of human disease.

Williams elected as
AAAS Fellow

Scott Williams, Ph.D., has been elected to the rank of AAAS Fellow as a member whose "efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications are scientifically or socially distinguished."  Williams has also recently been featured discussing his article "Increased Variance in Germline Allele-Specific Expression of APC Associates With Colorectal Cancer" in a video for the journal Gastroenterology.  Congratulations, Scott!
